About Antony Wynn: Antony lived in Iran for eight years, working as a rug buyer in western Iran and managing a racecourse in the northeast. He is the author of "Persia in the Great Game" and "Three Camels to Smyrna: Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan 1907-1986.
About Charles Anson: Charles is a former diplomat at the British Embassy in Tehran from 1976-79. Anson spent time walking with the Bakhtiari tribe in southern Iran during their annual migration across the mountains. In 1978, he was inside the British Embassy with other colleagues when it was occupied by Iranian student revolutionaries and set on fire, marking the beginning of the Iranian Revolution.
