You can get involved with Great Big Green Week, the UK’s biggest celebration of community events to tackle climate change & protect nature.
Free daily activities include:
Letters to Tomorrow >> Write a letter to a loved one with your hopes & fears for the future and what needs to happen today to make that future a reality. Post it in our green letter box in the tea room and we’ll put them on display at the end of the week.
Seed bomb making >> Pop by the welcome hut to join us and make some fantastic wildflower seed bombs to take away with you (while stocks last).
Nature Trail >> Family focussed Nature Trail exploring the Fell Foot grounds.
Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Sunday 16th June, 2pm - 4pm >> Self-led Community Craftivism sessions: Craft sessions where you can use your creativity to create art and crafts to support Great Big Green Week ambitions. These sessions will take place at the Active Base.
Sunday 8th & Sunday 16th June, 10am in the tea room >> Sunday morning Climate Coffee and a stroll mornings. We are keen to hear your ideas for what we can do together to make positive environmental changes. Come along and share your ideas and thoughts with staff and fellow visitors to Fell Foot.
Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th June and Sunday 16th June, 11am >> Guided Nature and Environment Walks with the NT team. Learn more about the hidden natural gems around Fell Foot and take away ideas and inspiration for what you can do at home. Meet at the tea room at 11am.

- What to bring and wear
Bring coats, and wellies if it's wet, as some events will be out and about in the park.
- Accessibility
Accessible toilets in main car park and at the Active Base. Changing Places facility. Wheelchair accessible pathway. Mountain trike available to hire free of charge. Level access to cafe and outdoor viewing platform. Grounds partly accessible, grass and loose gravel paths, steep slopes and undulating terrain.
- Other
Toilets and baby-changing facilities in the main car park, next to the café, and in the Active Base. There's also a Changing Places facility available in the boathouse adjoining the café. Balance bikes can be borrowed. Childrens menu in the cafe and highchairs.
