London Rivers Week 2024: Morden Hall Park Family Craft & River Dipping
Join Thames21 for a family craft and river dipping experience to celebrate London Rivers Week 2024 on 23 June, 10am-12pm at Morden Hall Park.

This will be a morning packed with a fun craft and close-to-nature activities beside the River Wandle.
Your child will create a bespoke piece of art that captures the colours and vibrancy of the River Wandle, the nature around it and the wildlife in it. Children will be given fish identification cards to guide them to create a wonderful work of art.
On the day, don't miss the opportunity to sign up for a river dipping session to discover and have a closer look at the wonderful creatures that live in the river Wandle.
Craft activity: drop in River dipping session: 10.15am-11am & 11.15am-12pm. Sign up on the day. Limited places available.

Children 5-11 years old, an adult must be present.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the White Bride lawn.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, and bring water to stay hydrated.

It is not possible for children to access the river at this location. Photos and video footage will be taken at this event and used by Thames21 for promotional purposes (including but not limited to printed materials, social media, newsletters and the website) and potentially shared with our external partners and funders. If you do not wish to be pictured, please speak to a member of the team on the day
