Eels are perhaps our most mysterious fish, whose origin and life cycle were unknown for many centuries. Discover more about them and join our Ranger team at Blakeney.

These fish have been feared, reviled as a destructive pest, hunted for food, and even worshipped. But they hide a special secret, as young they migrate over 4000km across the Atlantic to live in and around the Blakeney Freshes and up the far reaches of the River Glaven.
