Holywell: Delaval Discoveries Wider Estate Walk

Join us for our regular wider estate walks to discover more about the Delavals and their local interests. Take in delightful views across the landscape and find out more about the area's history.

This circular walk of just over four miles will give you the chance to explore the wider estate of Seaton Delaval Hall. Along the way, discover numerous points of interest, including a Norman church, castle ruins and Holywell Pond nature reserve.

Please wear weather-appropriate, outdoor footwear. Heels are not recommended.

This walk includes steps, uneven terrain and stiles.

This walk takes in farmland where livestock graze; access dogs only. Entrance to the property is not included in this event. Normal admission charges will apply if you wish to include a visit to the Hall. Please note that timings are approximate.
