International Dawn Chorus Day Walk

Step out into nature and immerse yourself in the majestic sounds of the dawn chorus at Downhill. Experience the powerful restorative qualities of the woodlands on an early morning walk around the Demesne and Forest.

  • Booking essential

Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day with this guided early morning walk through Downhill Demesne and Forest.

Our area ranger James will take you through the basics of identifying birds by their song and enjoy the variety of songs. By the end of it, you’ll know how to distinguish a Great tit from the Chiffchaff.

This two-hour walk also offers the fascinating opportunity to immerse yourself in nature's greatest symphony and experience the powerfully restorative qualities of the woodlands.

There’ll even be a chance to stop for coffee and breakfast enroute – is there a more perfect start to a fresh spring day?
