Booking your visit to Waddesdon
You'll need a ticket to explore both the house and grounds of the illustrious Waddesdon, which is managed by the Rothchild Foundation on behalf of the National Trust. How to book your ticket to visit Waddesdon House
All visitors, including National Trust members should book their timed house entry in advance as there is limited capacity, especially at weekends and during school holidays.
- Please book one ticket per person, except for children aged five or under who do not need a ticket.
- Tickets are for your use only and not for resale.
- You will be sent a booking confirmation by email. Please make sure you fill in the correct email address to ensure you receive your confirmation.
Timing your visit
Please book an entry time at least 30 minutes after you plan to arrive to allow sufficient time to get from the car park to the house.
How to book grounds tickets
If you do not wish to visit the house itself, you can also book grounds-only admission to explore the garden.
All visitors, including National Trust members, should book their grounds admission in advance.
Booking the shuttle service
There is a shuttle bus option available if you do not wish walk from the car park. This is also pre-bookable as you book your tickets. Blue badge holders and accompanying carers can use this service for free.
Booking additional activities
Throughout the year various activities take place, including tours of the walled garden, wine and food events, exhibitions and cultural events.
If you want to book an activity during your visit to Waddesdon you’ll need to start by booking your grounds admission and all available activities on that date will appear after this has been selected.

Arriving at Waddesdon
Although you will not be able to access the house until the time stated on your ticket, grounds admission – which is included with your house booking – is anytime from 10am.
If you are a National Trust member please bring your membership card with you as these will be checked on arrival.
