Join us in the beautiful 17th century St Bartholomew's Church at Benthall this Christmas, for a variety of festive events. Wrap up warm to enjoy a Georgian choir or let a brass ensemble entertain you with Christmas music. Come along to our craft workshops. Make your own Christmas gonk and decoration from clay or create a natural Christmas wreath using seasonal foliage and berries.

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop
Create your own natural Christmas wreath for your home or a gift, with fresh seasonal foliage, berries and ribbon at this relaxed festive workshop.
Join us in the beautiful 17th century church at Benthall on this two hour festive workshop where you will create a homemade Christmas wreath. Natural foliage, berries and materials will be provided in this relaxed and friendly class.
Wrap up warm, as there is no heating in the church. Hot drinks and mince pies will be provided.

Christmas Clay Gonk Workshop
Join us in the church at Benthall on this two hour festive workshop where our brilliant Benthall volunteer Elaine will teach you how to make a Christmas gonk and Christmas tree decoration from clay.
Hot drinks and seasonal treats will be provided.

The clay used is air dry clay which you can paint using acrylic paints at home, your gonk and decoration should be dry within 5 days (at room temperature). If you wish to add colours on the day, clay dyes will be available at the workshop.
West Gallery Choir Christmas Concert
Come and see a Georgian style carol service performed by the John Moore Quire. Singing will be interspersed by The Village Band playing music from the Georgian era and Quire members who impart historical and amusing quips and information about west gallery choirs. Hot drinks and seasonal treats are available for purchase on the day.

Shropshire Brass Ensemble Christmas Concert
Come along and get into the festive spirit as we host the Shropshire Brass Ensemble for a musical concert. Led by brass musician and conductor Steve Pritchard-Jones, this local 5-piece brass ensemble play a variety of music from classical and jazz to traditional British folk music.
Hot drinks and seasonal treats are available for purchase on the day.
