Medieval Fair at Bodiam Castle

The return of Bodiam Castle’s popular family friendly medieval fair!

Come with your family and enjoy playing with a host of medieval inspired games and activities in the Mill Pond with the stunning backdrop of Bodiam Castle. Hobby horses, quoits, sand play, dancing ribbons, archery, dragon bean bag throwing, build your own castle and straw bales hurdles and more.

The Medieval Fair is fun for all ages, with most of the games and activities ideal for families with children aged 5–12. Some activities, such as archery, are more suitable for children aged 8–15.

Accessibility

There are gravel paths from visitor reception to the castle and around the moat. Elsewhere in the grounds there is uneven terrain.
