Explorers walk: river dipping at Eastergate
Join the rangers at Marsden Moor on a nature adventure and help us spot the tiny creatures that live in our streams and rivers.

Join us for a walk down to Eastergate Bridge to see the creatures which live in the river. Bring your wellies if you wish to help us collect our samples. Please also bring either snacks or lunch as we will likely be at Eastergate around lunchtime.
We will have a 3 mile walk along the canal towpath and through the Canal and Rivers Trust’s Nature Reserve on the way, looking at trees and wildflowers.

Please bring wellies if you have them and dress appropriately for the weather.

The canal towpath is flat and accessible for most. There are some sections of uneven ground.
