Gardens

Enjoy a guided walk through the gardens.
 
Explore the 17th century parterre and the wilds of the nuttery. During this guided walk you can also find out more about the heritage and nature conservation work that helps to care for this special place.
 

Hall

Find out about the hall's history from the birth of the Washington Family to the 17th Century manor and through to its more recent tenemented period.
 
You'll also hear how the Hall was saved from demolition, thanks to one local school headmaster.
 

Village walk

We can also offer a short historic tour of the Washington Village taking in remnants of centuries gone. Lasts approximately 40 minutes.
 

Refreshments

We have small but inviting National Trust tearoom offering teas, coffee and light bites
