Mill walks and talks

Following on from last years very popular Mill Walks and Talks series, we are delighted to welcome back Sebastian Graham of Mills of Northern Ireland to Wellbrook Beetling Mill, located near Cookstown in Co. Tyrone.

Sebastian Graham, of Mills of Northern Ireland, will be delivering 2 talks, with the first taking place on Thursday 28 May and the later one on Thursday 28 August. Each talk will have a different theme involving a short talk plus activity.

Sophie Atkinson, Area Ranger for Springhill and Wellbrook will then take visitors for a tour around the river and you can see the seasonal highlights that make Wellbrook unique.

Thursday 28 May at 6.30pm

Sebastian will talk about flax in Ulster, it's history, importance and its uses. Visitors will take part in sowing flax at Wellbrook and get involved in the process.
