Walking on the moor
A variety of walks to choose from. You could....
- Go to the head of the Plym if you're feeling adventurous. It may take you a while, but the panoramic views are well worth the effort. It's worth looking out for the Bronze Age archaeology along the way.
- Climb a tor - Trowlesworthy, Hen and Calveslake tors are all nearby.
- Look over the moonscape of the clay works from Shell Top and enjoy the stunning views over South Devon.
You can choose to go wherever you want - these are just a few thoughts to get you started. It's a good idea to take a map and compass and wear suitable clothing and footwear though.
