Behind the scenes tours

Sat 9 & Sun 10, Sat 16 & Sun 17 February

If you've ever wondered what goes on when the blinds are drawn at a country house in winter, now's your chance to find out. On two weekends this February, you can join guided tours at Claydon House to discover the intriguing secrets of the winter clean.

Each tour raises the dust sheets on the conservation work that goes on behind the scenes to protect Claydon's magnificent interiors from the perils of the modern world.

You’ll get to explore behind the scenes of Claydon with access to rooms not normally seen by visitors.

Tours will be running at 11:30am & 1:30pm and need to be booked.

During these two weekends, the private gardens run by the Claydon Estate will be open for their Winter Bulbs event. An extra charge applies. More information can be found on the Claydon Estate website.
