Conwy Suspension Bridge: Explore a one bedroomed castle.

Conwy Suspension Bridge Tollhouse

Hidden on the other side of Conwy sits the Tollhouse at Conwy Suspension Bridge. Join us this summer for family fun and games, and to find out more about the stories behind this castle-esque hidden gem

In the 1890s a family of six lived in the toll house, taking the tolls for the bridge 24 hours a day seven days a week.

David and Maria Williams kept Thomas Telford's bridge open every day of the year, whatever the weather and even sold fruit and veg to passing trade, grown in their cottage garden on the bridge.

  • Victorian style games: Hoops and sticks/croquet
  • Open grassy area for picnics

Join un this summer between 11am-4pm, 7 days a week.
