The Barn Restaurant at Cotehele
The fifteenth-century Barn is made of slate stone and granite with a slate roof and rustic wooden beams.
These days you can admire the old charm while you dine in modern comfort with both indoor and outside seating on warm days.
The menu features morning coffee, hot and light lunches, wine and ale. There's a children's menu and children's picnic lunch boxes too.
Specials include warming winter dishes, soup, a classic Victoria sponge and a chocolate and orange twist. We change the menu depending on what's fresh and in season. Check the blackboard to see what's on offer the day you visit.
The chefs will serve Christmas roast turkey dinners on Sundays in December (3, 10, 17, 24, 31 December).
Sunday roast lunch
You'll have a choice of two mouth-watering roast meats or a vegetarian option on Sundays. There's a children’s option too.
Save room for pudding
Even if you think you might not have a sweet tooth, you still might want to browse the cake and baked goods table. Tempted?
