Coughton Summer Fete - Sat 8 July
Join us for traditional stalls, games and competitions on the lawn to raise money for local causes. Saturday 8 July, 12noon - 4pm, entrance to the gardens is free.
It is that time of the year again and we are looking forward to the village summer fete and the sunshine that goes with it.
We open at 12 noon and are honoured to have Adam Walsh here to perform the opening ceremony.
During the afternoon you can browse many stalls including tombola, face painting, local produce, cakes and many more.
There will also be entertainment and sports day fun.
The smells of the BBQ will hopefully tempt your appetite and there are cold refreshments available as well.
" It’s fantastic to have such a great relationship with the Coughton community and to be able to host the annual village fete for the seventh year. So far over £4500 has been raised and put towards projects at Coughton Primary School, Sambourne Cemetery and the ford area. As well as being a great cause, it’s an opportunity for us all to get together and share a fun day out and this year we look forward to challenging you to a traditional game of tug of war. "
There is a 'Minature Garden' competition which you can join in by bringing along your own masterpiece or pop along and create one on the day.
