Enjoy a picnic here at Coughton

We have two great spots for you to picnic here at Coughton Court while you enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

Help us to look after the gardens for everyone to enjoy. If you have brought a picnic please use the two areas where we have placed picnic tables for your convenience.

The first is near the car park as you enter. It is the perfect spot if you wish to eat your picnic before exploring the house and gardens.

If you wander past the large lawn towards the river you will see a bridge that leads to a footpath across to Timm’s Grove, our bluebell wood in season, and the home of our natural play area.

Across the bridge you will find our new picnic area for the 2017 season. This gives you a real feel for the surrounding countryside and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the Longhorn cattle grazing. They are classified as a rare breed and may look fierce with their long sweeping horns but are a gentle breed and excellent for conservation grazing.
