February half term at Croft Castle

A woman gives child a piggy-back in winter at Croft Castle in Herefordshire

Splash about in puddles in the parkland, spot early signs of spring and see who's checked into the bug hotel in the walled garden.

This February half term...

...please stay local as per government guidelines if planning to visit one of our places.
Most places will not be running their usual half term events and activities, but your family will still be able to enjoy fresh air and space to stretch little legs at our places which are open.
Please book visits in advance, and always check the webpage of the place you wish to visit before you travel.

February half term at Croft Castle

Blow away the cobwebs and pop on your walking boots this half term, as we have nearly 1500 acres just waiting to be explored. Admire the breathtaking winter views from the top of Croft Ambrey and feel the crunch of frost beneath your feet as you weave in and out of our ancient trees. See if you can spot the snowdrops clustered around the trees in the front meadow and try your hand at bird watching through the bare winter branches in the parkland.

Don't forget to pop into the Carpenter's tea-room for takeaway drinks and snacks for you to enjoy on your walk.

In line with government guidance, outdoor spaces only at Croft Castle are open for local visitors to access for walks. You will need to book your visit in advance. You will be turned away if you arrive without a booking. Book your tickets here
