A 2.5k junior run also takes in the best bits of the route, including the castle grounds. The event raises funds for St Michael's Hospice, with £1 from every senior entry fee going to the charity to help them in their vital work. Competitors will also have access to the castle grounds, tea-room, shop and play area after their invigorating DirtRun.
