Closure at Croft Castle

A view of Croft Castle in Herefordshire

The safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our priority so the entire site is now closed until further notice to restrict the spread of coronavirus.

We’ve sadly taken the decision to close our parks and gardens, in addition to our houses, shops and cafés, to help restrict the spread of coronavirus. We know that people are likely to need space and fresh air in the coming weeks and months and we will do all we can to provide access wherever possible. Our countryside and coastal locations remain open with parking charges waived, but we encourage people to stay local and observe social distancing measures.

The castle, tea-room, castle play area, shop, second-hand bookshop, parkland, gardens, natural play area, car park and toilets

All of the above are now closed until further notice.

We will update our website and social media on our reopening date as soon as we know it.

All events until the end of May have been cancelled, which may extend further, dependent on government guidance.
