An audience enjoying outdoor theatre

Spend a summer's evening or afternoon watching open-air theatre on the top terrace of the garden. Bring along a picnic and low-backed seating and settle in for some top quality entertainment. We're hosting three outdoor theatre performances this summer, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy.

This summer, we'll have three open-air theatre productions taking place on the top terrace of the garden at Dudmaston.

The Lord Chamberlain's Men: The Tempest

The Lord Chamberlain's Men invite you to watch Shakespeare's late, great gem, The Tempest. Set on a remote island, inhabited by magical creatures, Shakepeare's spellbinding tale tells a story of betrayal, true love and what it takes to forgive.

“Be not afeard; the isle is full of noises, sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.”

Tickets cost £15 per adult and £8.50 per child, and booking in advance is strongly advised. The performance begins at 7.30pm.

Immersion Theatre: The Importance of Being Earnest

For an evening full of laugh-a-long moments, join Immersion Theatre for their take on Wilde's comedy masterpiece.

"You must not laugh at me, darling, but it had always been a girlish dream of mine to love someone whose name was Ernest..." Everybody loves Ernest. The only trouble is, he doesn't exist. Or does he?

Immersion Theatre: Peter Pan

Join Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys on an adventure of a lifetime. Immersion Theatre return to Dudmaston for an afternoon of family fun.

This outdoor theatre adaptation of JM Barrie’s classic tale ‘Peter Pan’ promises to capture the imaginations of young and old alike. It’s the perfect way to round off the summer holidays.

Tickets cost £10 per adult and £8 per child, and booking in advance is strongly advised. The performance begins at 2pm.
