Top spots to picnic at Dudmaston
Whether it's cheese and pickle sarnies or a crunchy summer salad, there's plenty of places to enjoy a picnic on the estate.
Find your perfect spot...
For gorgeous summer views
Lay out your blanket on the banks of Big Pool and enjoy views across to the rolling Shropshire hills. This is a great place to spot wildlife on the water, or simply relax and watch the world go by.
Where the children can let off steam
Watch the children work up an apetite in the playground from the picnic benches in the orchard.
Find a shady and secluded spot
If you're looking to picnic in the great outdoors, head over to Comer Wood and find a leafy spot all to yourselves.
This part of the estate is located on the A442 between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, approximately a mile from the main entrance to Dudmaston Hall. Car parking is available. There are no toilets or rubbish bins in this part of the woodland so please help us to keep the area tidy and take your rubbish home with you.
Shelter from the rain
We can’t always promise sunshine, so if the weather takes a turn for the worse, you can shelter inside the Apple Snacks Store in the Brewhouse Courtyard.
