Easter holidays at Dudmaston
Spring has finally sprung and to celebrate we've got lots of fun things planned this Eastertime at Dudmaston.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
On Monday (4 April) and Wednesdays (30 March & 6 April) Bunny will be needing your help. His Easter egg has broken and all the pieces have been hidden throughout the orchard and garden at Dudmaston. Join us as we hunt for the missing pieces to help him put his egg back together again. You'll also have the chance to get crafty in the activities marquee. Trails cost £2.50 per child and there will be a small charge for the craft activity.
Enjoy the parklands in Spring
Stroll around the Estate as it reawakens for Spring. Spot the sunny patches of daffodils that have emerged in the garden, or head down into the Dingle for a refreshing walk. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Lend a hand
Want to work off those chocolate easter eggs? Then help us do a bit of gardening. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1.00-3.00pm during the local school holidays help our Ranger team plant spring bulbs down in the Dingle and on the Dam. All equipment and bulbs will be supplied, just turn up with gardening gloves and a bit of digging determination.
Explore the Hall
From Sunday, 27 March the Hall will be open for visitors from 2.00-5.00pm (and from 1.00pm during the week). Discover the story of Dudmaston, where ancient design meets modern ideas and culture. Visit Gallery 2, our brand new exhibition, which displays the history of the people at Dudmaston through the objects they once owned and used.
Satisfy hungry tummies
Fancy something savoury after all the sweet treats? Head over to the Orchard tea room for a bite to eat and a warming hot drink. Be warned though, more chocolatey treats will be on offer. The tearoom will open from 11.30-5.00pm.
