Please book ahead before visiting

You will need to book your car parking space in advance of your arrival to Dunwich Heath. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. Tickets are released on a week by week basis with the following Monday to Sunday bookings released at midnight on Thursday. You will need to book your car parking space by 3pm the day before your visit. Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive ​and haven't booked. We're looking forward to welcoming you back.

Hidden history to be revealed at Dunwich Heath 

From stories of smugglers and shipping routes to a pivotal role in the success of the D-Day landings, the little-known history of one of Suffolk’s coastal beauty spots is set to be revealed.

We celebrated a special anniversary at Dunwich Heath in 2018, a year which marked 50 years since this beautiful site came into the care of the National Trust.
