Bird Ringing at Dunwich Heath

Bird ringing demonstrations usually take place from spring until autumn (subject to weather conditions!) Sadly these sessions are currently postponed, but please check here for updates. You can join ringers from Waveney Bird Club to find out more about this important conservation work and get a close up look at some of the birds which make their homes here at Dunwich Heath. It’s a great opportunity for children to engage with nature and see some of our best-loved birds up close. Please note this event is highly dependent on conditions being suitable for the safety of the birds, so times may vary, or it may be cancelled at short notice – please contact us if you’re travelling especially, or see our updates on our Facebook page.
