Extended opening at Dyrham Park
Every weekend in July and August 2016, we're staying open later - til 6pm on a Saturday and Sunday, meaning there's no reason to rush off.
Dyrham Park is a magical place on an evening, the low sun casts a beautiful orange glow on the Cotswold stone, the deer come out from their hiding places and bask in the evening sunshine and the place winds down for the night.
Every weekend in July and August 2016, we'll be keeping the park and garden open until 6pm instead of 5pm - wiht last entry at 5pm. The house will close as normal at 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.
The shop will be open for you to browse until 6pm and you'll be able to pick up some food and drink in our courtyard kiosk, should you fancy and evening picnic. The bus will be on hand to run you back up to your car at 6pm too.
Outdoors Officer Beth Weston said: "Most people enjoy Dyrham Park in the middle of the day, which has quite a different vibe to early evening. As staff, we're fortunate to experience it after hours and now we're inviting you to do the same."
