The views along the terrace at Farnborough are wonderful. Catch up with our Garden Guide on your visit and find out more about the story of Farnborough’s unique parkland landscape, designed by Sanderson Miller, whose 300 year anniversary we celebrate in 2016.

Parkland chats are taking place on the following dates:

  • Saturday 9 July, from 3 - 5pm

  • Saturday 23 July, from 3 - 5pm

The 60 foot high obelisk was struck by lightening in 1936 but rebuilt and still shows the original date it was build in 1751

Our Garden Guide will be on hand in the gardens to show you want to look for on your walk along the terrace.  Ask them about the park's long history, the deisnger Sanderson Miller, it's historical influences and our exciting restoration project, now into it's third year.

Both the house and garden open at 2pm and close at 5.30pm.
