Camp and caravan

When it comes to camping there can be few sites to rival the special places we look after. Our campsites are set in some fantastic locations, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Crom is one of Ireland’s most important nature conservation areas with rare and spectacular wildlife, inspirational woodland walks and nature trails– the perfect place to pitch your tent. The estate is a well-known camping destination, but for those who want to enjoy a little more luxury, we’ve introduced new ‘glamping’ pods. They were originally used to house pigs, but they’ve certainly had an upgrade since then!

Castle Ward

Tucked away in the stunning 820 acre demesne there are 28 hard stand sites, space for up to ten tents and four eco-friendly continental camping PODS. The Bunkhouse, a two-storey former game-keepers cottage is also ideally suited for groups of up to 14 people. Surrounded by 34km of trails there is plenty of space for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities all year round.

With its walled garden, charming house and parklands full of tempting paths and trails, there's something for all the family at Springhill. We can only accommodate registered caravan clubs (NIDA, CCC, Mobile Home Club) for visits of two to five nights where the group comprises at least five caravans/camper-vans.

All caravan clubs must book at least one month in advance. Pitch includes access to toilets, but please note electricity and plumbing are not provided. We are no longer able to accommodate single caravans overnight or camping tents. Bookings: contact 028 8674 8210.
