A stay for active holidays with biking and canoe trails along the Lough Erne.
Orchard View sits in a line of terraced cottages just metres from the shores of the Lough Erne on the Crom estate. It used to house the farm workers of the estate and has now been restored into an inviting, three-bedroom holiday home, complete with an open fire and large windows. It also has an interconnecting door to neighbouring Willow Cottage if you need more space for larger parties.
Make the most of your unique location close to ancient woodlands, the river and an abundance of wildlife. Discover ancient yew trees, biking routes and canoe trails that take you along narrow channels and scattered islands. There’s a jetty close by, so you can bring your own canoe or kayak or hire one at the visitor centre.
Further afield, the town of Enniskillen is 20 miles away. Here you can explore its castle, museum and high street shops. Whilst there, take a boat trip to the Monastic Tower on Devenish Island.

Ferries: Stena Line offers a 10% discount for National Trust Holidays guests travelling to a cottage or campsite in Northern Ireland. You’ll need your booking reference to access the discount. Please follow this link. We recommend booking your ferry early due to the high demand for popular crossing times at busy times of the year including holiday periods.
Please note: There is a lockable interconnecting ground floor door between Willow Cottage and Orchard View. This can be opened up if booking both cottages together, giving a total capacity of 7 people.
Heating: Biomass heating included.
Parking: Parking is available in the courtyard behind the cottages. Please do not park at the front as access is needed to the jetty area regularly.
*WiFi: This is now available, but please note that intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and should not be relied upon. We are pleased to provide free WiFi at this cottage which is supported by BT.
Garden: Although there is no private garden, the cottage is surrounded by countryside with several picnic tables and visitors have immediate access to the grounds on the estate.
Fishing: if you intend to fish during your stay you do have to cross a stile to get to the fishing pegs. Disabled visitors are welcome to fish from the jetty.
Utilities: Tokens are available to buy from the visitor centre for the shared tumble dryer.
Please note: Crom Castle is private and not open to the public.
From time to time weddings are celebrated at Crom and there may be some entertainment provided for the guests at the visitors centre until late evening.
