Christmas choirs and concerts
Step in from the winter chill and merrily sing the night away at a Christmas concert. Little ones will love the cheer of singing festive songs with grandparents, and what better way to spend the season with friends than listening to a choir sing uplifting songs?
Sip on some mulled wine and warm up with us at special places decked out for Christmas. There’ll be plenty of mince pies for you to snack on as a brass band plays out the classics. Embrace the fading sunset as you sing carols in the candlelight.
Sing Christmas carols at a special place
Wrap up warm and take part in the Christmas tradition at Felbrigg Hall, Norwich, where you can sing carols in the courtyard accompanied by a brass band.
In Lincolnshire, Tattershall Castle will also be hosting a local brass band in the castle, where you can hear the dulcet brass tones playing out the Christmas cheer. Then, head over to the church where you can enjoy heart-warming mince pies and mulled wine before singing carols by candlelight for a snug evening.
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, Yorkshire, is sure to brighten up your evening with its colourful light display bathing the abbey, a magical backdrop for some evening music delights. The choir will be singing and the band will be playing on weekend afternoons in the leadup to Christmas. You can also tuck into some Christmas treats by the mill.
Travel back in time and enjoy a very Victorian Christmas at Tyntesfield near Bristol, where the Gibbs family have prepared for the festivities. Different choirs will be performing in the chapel throughout December on selected dates, including all male-choirs and the UWE Gospel Choir.
