Corporate volunteering

We offer team volunteering at a number of our beautiful places. If you're looking for time out of the office with your colleagues whilst making a difference, read on…

The difference you can make

Protecting the environment and bringing heritage to life is our number one priority. With over 500 historic houses and castles and 248,000 hectares of land, we need your help. By donating your time and skills, you can help us get even more conservation work done.

Team days

In as little as an afternoon, groups help us tackle jobs which would otherwise take our rangers and property teams days or even weeks to complete. You could be getting your hands dirty in the gardens and heathlands of our countryside, working with our collections staff to conserve the treasures of history or working with ranger teams to help monitor or support habitats for wildlife. There’s a whole host of things we need help with to look after special places for future generations to enjoy.

What can we offer you?

Setting - A beautifully unique place to spend a day; it could be in part of a UNESCO world heritage site, a stately home or in one of the greatest collections of historic gardens in Europe.
Space – Some of the ideas that changed the world were thought up at our places; follow in the footsteps of Sir Issac Newton taking inspiration from the fantastic spaces we offer to create your own moment of contemplation away from the day job.
Skills – Specialists in everything from dry stone walling to habitat management, you’ll have the chance to work alongside passionate staff who'll share their knowledge and enable you to get hands on.
Social Impact – Activities with meaning enable you to do your bit to protect the environment or conserve important heritage sites for local communities and future generations to come.
Sparkle – Besides the fun and memories you’ll create, top off the day with a behind the scenes tour, maybe a hot chocolate around the fire or maybe even making your own Christmas decorations.

We have opportunities across the UK so hopefully you’ll be able to find something near you.
