Shopping
Boscastle shop stocks a wide range of gifts and books. Visitors will find a large selection of maps, walking guides and other items you may find useful to help you explore the outdoors.
The shop also sells locally sourced jewellery and beach art including sea glass pictures. Cornish preserves, fudge and biscuits as well as ciders and beers are on sale too.
Visitors looking for children’s gifts will find everything from pocket money toys to games and books connecting children to nature, many based on the National Trust’s 50 things campaign. Den and bug kits as well as spotter guides are popular.
Plants are for sale from our courtyard between March and October; sourced locally and grown in peat free compost.
The safety of staff, volunteers and visitors is our priority, therefore we will be introducing social distancing measures including:
- Where necessary, we will limit the flow of people coming into our shops to ensure they don’t get too busy.
- Hand sanitiser will be available for customers and colleagues to use.
- Protective screens at till points.
- Where possible, we will create separate entrances and exits, so that it’s easier to keep a safe distance from other customers.
- Our staff and signs will reinforce these safety measures.
Eating
Our café is serving a range of takeaway hot and cold drinks, light snacks including pasties, sausage rolls and sandwiches as well as Cornish ice cream. There is also a limited amount of indoor and outdoor seating available.
Winter hot drink specials include millionaire shortbread hot chocolate and lattes as well as gingerbread cappuccinos.
We’ve introduced safety measures including screens at our till and collection points, track and trace and waymarked routes. We’ll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you and know that you will support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.
We are now able to offer refills for reusable cups.
