Eryri Association

Visitors at Penrhyn Castle, Gwynedd, North Wales.

The Eryri Association takes its name from the Welsh for the beautiful area of Snowdonia in which we are so fortunate to be based.

Members are offered a never-ending series of interesting and entertaining talks from erudite and expert speakers. Talks take place on the second Friday of each month from September to May at 2.30pm in the Granary Gallery at 'our' property, Penrhyn Castle.

Members are kept informed about the ongoing work behind the scenes in the castle. They are invited on special visits to see the conservation and renovation work, the exhibitions, the work in the garden and grounds, and the education department, much of which the association has supported.

Our annual short summer holiday to another part of the British Isles and our outings programme are enthusiastically enjoyed - taking advantage, of course, of our membership to visit other (very different) properties.
