Explore the magical Waddesdon Manor

Waddesdon Manor looks like a palace that’s leapt straight from the pages of a fairy tale and landed in the hills of Buckinghamshire.

The French Renaissance-style chateau was built in 1874 and is just as enchanting today as it was then. Children should look out for Sleeping Beauty in the Bakst room of the house.

The gardens are home to a Rococo-style aviary and there’s a woodland playground which winds through the trees.
