Fundraise for us

The places we care for are made of incredible stuff – what are you made of? In our 125th anniversary year, we’d love you to join our 125 challenge and become a fundraising champion for the landscapes you love.

How will you take on the 125 challenge to raise £125 to help protect the irreplaceable in 2020? Will you make your miles count by walking, swimming or running for us? Maybe bake sales and crocheting are more your style? Whatever you love to do – do it for the landscapes that leave you breathless, the heritage that fascinates you and the wildlife you adore.

What's the 125 challenge?

The National Trust was founded in 1895 with three founders and one mission – to protect open natural spaces for all. Now, as Europe’s largest conservation charity, we’re celebrating 125 years of looking after nature, beauty and history for the nation to enjoy. And it’s all thanks to supporters like you. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to care for the miles of coastline, woodlands, countryside and hundreds of historic buildings, gardens and precious objects that make life better.

In our anniversary year, we’re challenging people to raise £125 by doing something wild or wonderful for the places we look after. Everyone needs nature so join the 125 challenge and become a fundraising champion for the places that mean the most to you.

How your £125 could help

  • £125 could help care for 250 feet of coastline all year round
  • £550 could fund two days of expert textile conservation work
  • £1,250 could help replace 125 feet of footpath in the Lake District

Everyone needs nature

Whatever your challenge, remember every penny you raise will help look after the special places in our care. You can donate the money you raise to a specific appeal or place, or more generally to our conservation work across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Maybe you’ll fundraise for the beach where your children made their first sandcastles, the beautiful parkland where you spotted fallow deer, or the woodland walk where you uncovered hundreds of years of history.

Saving somewhere you love is a great motivator, so turn your passion into a success – request your fundraising kit today and help protect amazing places for everyone.

A big thank you

Thank you for protecting the places that are special to us all... and good luck on your fundraising adventure.
