Meet our new tea supplier
We know that for many, a visit to a National Trust place wouldn’t be complete without a cup of tea. This year, we've teamed up with Clipper Tea to create an exclusive breakfast tea just for you.
As a conservation charity we take our sourcing very seriously. We only ever work with suppliers who share our passion for caring about land, nature and those who work in it.
That’s why we‘ve chosen to begin an exciting new partnership with Clipper, a Fairtrade brand that shares our commitment.
Visit one of our tea-rooms or cafés and you’ll now be able to enjoy a tasty cup of exclusive National Trust Fairtrade tea and Clipper’s wider range of Fairtrade and organic blends and infusions.
To celebrate our new partnership, we've been working closely with Clipper to develop a unique blend of tea exclusive to National Trust visitors.
Our new National Trust everyday tea is a brisk, full flavoured blend with a coppery golden colour. The new tea is sourced from the finest tea estates in East Africa and India and carefully blended to deliver a big, bright cup.
" Clipper offers the perfect blend of quality, taste and ethics"
Clipper Tea was the UK’s first Fairtrade tea company and still manufacture from their factory in Dorset. We chose Clipper as our new supplier as not only did they meet the high sourcing standards and sustainability levels we expect, but they stood out for us in all sorts of other ways.
As our food and beverage development manager Tim Howard explains: ‘From the quality of their blends which come in unbleached bags and FSC packaging, to their competitive pricing, we believe that Clipper offers the perfect blend of quality, taste and ethics.’
