An opportunity to hear from and ask questions of your Chair and Director-General.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our live members’ broadcast on 7 November. We really appreciate your continued support in what has been an unprecedented year for all of us, including the Trust. We always value the opportunity to hear from our members, but particularly in these difficult times.

Thank you to everyone who submitted questions before and during the event. On the day, our Chair, Tim Parker, and Director-General, Hilary McGrady answered your questions on a wide range of topics.

We’re so grateful for the passion and dedication our members have in the future of the Trust. The live members’ broadcast was a first for us and we’re so pleased that so many of you were able to get involved. However, we hope that next year we’ll be able to resume our AGM and once again meet you face-to-face.

Reflections on a challenging year

As we look forward to gathering virtually, Hilary shares her thoughts and reflections on what has been a very challenging year for everyone. Remembering that without our members and supporters, staff and volunteers the National Trust couldn’t begin to fulfil our work bringing nature, beauty and history to people’s lives.
