Be a part of Birmingham’s industrial heritage when you stay in this restored Victorian house. In stark contrast to the cosmopolitan streets of Birmingham below, its interiors remain back in the Victorian era. Wooden floors, original fireplaces and period furnishings add to its historic charm, while its snug rooms, set over three floors and reached by a narrow winding staircase, give a sense of what life was like for the families who once lived here.
To see the rest of the Back to Back houses, book onto a free guided tour where you can gain even more of an insight into its history. After, head out into the city centre; you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from the Bullring shopping centre as well as the famous Birmingham Markets.
Just outside the city centre there are lots of fabulous places to visit including the Botanical Gardens, Cadbury World, the Black Country Museum, Dudley Zoo and Castle and many historical houses.

Access: Please note this cottage has narrow, steep and twisting stairs up to each floor.

Heating: Gas central heating is provided.
Parking: Unloading and loading only is permitted outside the property but there are various public car parks within walking distance.
Garden: There is no garden.
Utilities: There is a fridge with ice box provided.
Television: A television with USB port and Blueray / DVD player is provided, the building is grade II listed, therefore we are not able to install a satellite dish, and with no cable in the area, the television has no reception.

*WiFi: This is now available, but please note that intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and should not be relied upon. We are pleased to provide free WiFi at this cottage which is supported by BT.
Please note: The cottage is double glazed but due to its central location, with many pubs and restaurants on its door step, it may be noisy at times, particularly at the weekend. Tours of the Back to Backs start from outside the cottages and go through a gate next to the house, so there is noise from the gate and people outside, you can also sometimes hear people on tours when they are in the adjoining house, this is only during opening hours.
