About Clumber Park Bunkhouse

A 12-sleeper bunkhouse for woodland walks, bucolic bike rides and lakeside lazing on the Clumber Park estate.

There are lots of woodland adventures to be had when you stay in this restored gardener’s cottage. It’s surrounded by the parklands, woodlands and ornamental lake of Clumber Park, and Robin Hood’s stomping-ground, Sherwood Forest, is just a 20-minute drive from here.

Lots of events take place on the estate, from parkruns to wildlife walks, so be sure to see what’s on. You can also hire bikes here too.

Find simple but comfortable accommodation inside with a well-equipped kitchen and comfy beds to sleep in after a day of exploring.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
