This welcoming old farm barn conversion is on a one-man working farm. Sitting just off the South West Coast Path and surrounded by countryside and coast, it’s a perfect spot for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as art and history lovers who can soak up the unique light and characterful landscape.

Hop off the road between St Ives and St Just and you’ll find this authentic old barn in the glorious Cornish countryside. Converted to provide two ensuite double bedrooms upstairs, it’s great for two couples sharing, or small families. Head through the kitchen downstairs and there’s a small enclosed grassed garden where you can settle down for dinner on the outdoor seating after a day out exploring.

You’ll be spoiled for days out near Bosigran; from the family beaches of St Ives and Porthcurno for lazy days, to the South West Coast path running just past the barn for walkers who want to stretch their legs a bit more. Art lovers will adore bustling St Ives with its exhibitions and galleries, and history buffs can check out the old tin mines that dot the landscape - starting with St Just, originally the centre of the tin mining industry.

Further afield, pause at Land’s End, the most westerly (and often most windy) point of Cornwall. Or scale St Michael’s Mount near Penzance, a rocky island crowned by a medieval church and castle. Island lovers could also hop on a ferry trip from Penzance to the Scilly Isles. If surfing is more your style than sailing, Porthmeor Beach is for you. For a completely different type of drama, head to the world-famous Minack Threatre. At Godolphin, you can watch the conservation of sixteenth-century garden walls. When you come to stay with us, the funds from your holiday go towards essential work like this at the places we look after.
