Overhaven is a characterful rural cottage boasting many original features including slate floors and low wooden beams. For larger groups, Overhaven can be opened up on the ground floor with The Old Farmhouse.

Enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the cottage’s small walled terrace with views over to the lighthouse at Stepper Point. The beach at Pentireglaze is just a 10 minute stroll away.

For a more energetic afternoon, jump on your bike and cycle the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow, one of Cornwall’s culinary hotspots. Or drive five minutes to surfing beach, Polzeath and find your feet on its gentle waves. Also not to be missed is the higgledy-piggledy lanes of Port Isaac, just a 15 minute drive to the east.

    Layout

Ground floor: Hall. Open-plan kitchen and dining room room, with traditional low beams. Utility room. Toilet. Large sitting room with open fire, slate floor and door to terrace and garden.

First floor: Double bedroom with 5' bed. Double bedroom with 6' bed (which can be made into a twin on request). Twin bedroom (which can be made into a double on request). Bathroom with shower attachment. Shower room.

    Outside space

The patio door from sitting room opens onto a small terrace. An archway from the terrace leads to the lawned front garden, which is shared by both cottages.
