Located in the mystical village of Avebury on the border of the beautiful Marlborough Downs, the cottage makes the perfect romantic getaway.
The cottage’s location is incredibly unique, within the Neolithic stone circle and henge the village has become famous for. Enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the enclosed garden before exploring the exploring the village on foot.
Further afield, the World Heritage city of Bath is just an hour’s drive away. Enjoy wandering around this stunning spa city with its award-winning restaurants and cosy cafes.

Ground floor
Stable door leads into the sitting/dining room with open fire and windows look directly on to the henge and stones. Kitchen and separate utility room.

One double bedroom with 5' antique brass and iron bed. Lovely views from windows to the henge and Marlborough Downs. Bathroom with shower over bath.

Heating: Oil central heating included.
Parking: Parking for 2 small cars is possible directly outside the cottage on the byway.
Garden: Enclosed informal garden to front of cottage.
Utilities/Electricals: The washing machine and tumble dryer is a combined washer/dryer.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Offers: Cottage guests get free entry to Avebury Manor and Museum plus discounts in the National Trust shop and restaurant when they show their confirmation invoice.
Please note: During the celebration weekends of Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice the ancient stones are a tremendous focus for celebrations. The village becomes incredibly busy with an increased number of visitors. As the cottage is located within the stone circle these visitors will be in the vicinity of the cottage. Due to the nature of the Summer Solstice the celebrations will be ongoing throughout the weekend, 24 hours a day. Whilst very busy they are also a fabulous event to witness.
