About Holeslack Farmhouse
Contemporary and rustic combine in this Grade II listed farmhouse on the Sizergh estate.Stay in this timeless Grade II listed farmhouse where rustic original features are complimented with modern updates. You’ll be cooking in a glossy kitchen, climbing a 16th-century spiralling staircase and sleeping next to grand oak cupboards; it’s a real mix of old and new. The four-bedroom cottage sits on the Sizergh estate, with views of the medieval castle and across the surrounding countryside.
There are lots of walks across the estate, many with panoramic views across Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells. Be sure to walk along Scout Scar, a spectacular limestone pavement.
Sizergh Castle estate stands at the gateway to the Lake District, with the southern shores of Lake Windermere less than a 30-minute drive from here. For the nearest shops and cafes, drive just 10 minutes into the historic market town of Kendal.
