Contemporary and rustic combine in this Grade II listed farmhouse on the Sizergh estate.
Stay in this timeless Grade II listed, semi-detached farmhouse where rustic original features are complemented with modern updates. You’ll be cooking in a glossy kitchen, climbing a 16th-century spiralling staircase and sleeping next to grand oak cupboards; it’s a real mix of old and new. The four-bedroom cottage sits on the Sizergh estate, with views of the medieval castle and across the surrounding countryside.
There are lots of walks across the estate, many with panoramic views across Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells. Be sure to walk along Scout Scar, a spectacular limestone pavement.
