About Old Lodge

A neo-classic style lodge with a homely interior, set on the Trelissick estate.

Old Lodge is a tiny grade II listed lodge built in 1825 to mirror the neo-classical mansion next door, Trelissick House. Step inside to a warm welcome from the open fire and elegant furnishings throughout. It has a small shrub-filled garden and it’s dog-friendly too.

Located at the heart of the Trelissick estate, discover this beautiful house, garden and parkland on the banks of River Fal. Many events take place here throughout the year from parkruns to guided tours, so be sure to check them out before you leave.

Take the King Harry ferry across the river and travel through the beautiful Roseland. This stunning peninsula benefits from sweeping sea views and bracing coastal footpaths.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
