About Overhaven

A spacious, rural cottage with lots of original features and views to the Stepper Point lighthouse.

Overhaven is a characterful rural cottage boasting many original features including slate floors and low wooden beams. For larger groups, Overhaven can be opened up on the ground floor with The Old Farmhouse.

Enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the cottage’s small walled terrace with views over to the lighthouse at Stepper Point. The beach at Pentireglaze is just a 10 minute stroll away.

For a more energetic afternoon, jump on your bike and cycle the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow, one of Cornwall’s culinary hotspots. Or drive five minutes to surfing beach, Polzeath and find your feet on its gentle waves. Also not to be missed is the higgledy-piggledy lanes of Port Isaac, just a 15 minute drive to the east.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
