The smaller part of the original farmhouse, pretty Trescore with exposed beams and a snuggly sitting room, is attached to Porth Mear Cottage.

With its high vantage point, enjoy views from the large, grassy garden down to Porth Mear cove. In the distance you’ll be able to see the lighthouse at Trevose Head. Immediately outside your cottage open the farm gate and follow the path down to Porth Mear, a secluded cove only accessible on foot. This is a dramatic coastline whatever the season, with awe-inspiring views of towering sea stacks and the picturesque Bedruthan steps. See birds swooping over clifftops, wander through fields carpeted with wildflowers, or search for creatures hiding in rockpools.

For a sandy beach head to Porthcothan just a mile away. The northern coastline is littered with tiny bays, perfect for surfing. For the biggest swells head to Mawgan Porth or Constantine Bay, just a 10 minute drive. And, of course, no visit would be complete without a stroll through the bustling harbour village of nearby Padstow, with its renowned cafés, restaurants and shops.
