About Stackpole Activity Centre, Kingfisher House
Based on the Stackpole estate this 44-sleeper bunkhouse is ideally placed for educational adventures.With space for 44 guests, Kingfisher House, part of the Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre, is the perfect destination for large educational groups. Surrounded by wildlife and various habitats including woodland, valleys, beaches, lakes and open farmland, the wealth of learning opportunities is evident wherever you look.
With a commercial kitchen, social area and dining room, Kingfisher House has been carefully designed to suit large communal groups.
Get involved with the running of the estate on your visit. Guests are welcome to work alongside our rangers helping with tasks across the estate such as clearing the woods, cleaning the beaches or carrying out wildlife surveys.
With designated dark skies status, Kingfirsher House is well-suited to astronomy societies too. Enjoy some of the clearest skies in Europe as you gaze up into the night discovering the majesty of the cosmos.

Ground floor
Private play area leads into the lobby, large commercial kitchen and store room, large living room, dining area and drying room. Five bedrooms 1x single (with ensuite shower room), 1x twin (with ensuite disabled access shower room), 2x dormitories sleeping 6 (in 3x bunkbeds) and 1x dormitories sleeping 8 (in 4x bunkbeds). A communal shower room (with 5x showers and 4x toilets) and a toilet.

Accessed from the internal staircase, five bedrooms 1x single (with ensuite shower room), 1x twin (with ensuite shower room) and 3x dormitories sleeping 6 (3x bunkbeds). A communal shower room (with 4 showers and 4 toilets).
Notes for guests
Heating: Biomass boiler
Bedding/linen: 1 pillow, duvet and matress protector provided per person. Bedlinen is available to hire. If you wish to order some then contact the Holidays Team on 0344 335 1296 at least five days ahead of your stay. Linen pack per person: £5 pack includes sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase.
Parking: Parking is in the main car park by reception approximately 50 metres from the accommodation. It is possible to get closer for unloading.
Garden: Kingfisher House has an private enclosed play area and private grass area. Guests also have shared use of the gardens surrounding the centre including a firepit.
Hazards: The estate sits alongside the Castlemartin Tank firing range, when red flags are flying there is no access along the coastal path across the range.
