About Stackpole Activity Centre, Shearwater House
Go kayaking, coasteering or hiking along the Pembrokeshire coast when you stay in this large Stackpole bunkhouse.Shearwater House is a bright airy holiday property located at the heart of the Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre on the Pembrokeshire coast. This seven bedroom property comfortably sleeps 17 guests and is the ideal setting for a family get together.
Take a short walk through the woods and you’ll arrive at Stackpole’s famous lakes and lily ponds. Keep an eye out for birds and wildflowers in the surrounding meadows.
The estate is home to ancient woodland and two spectacular beaches, but further afield there is even more to see.
Adventurers can make the most of lots of fantastic local activities including surfing, coasteering, kayaking, climbing and cycling.
When the sun sets, head outside and unleash your inner astronomer. With designated dark sky status, Stackpole affords some of the clearest skies in Europe, You’ll be amazed by what you see twinkling above you.

Ground floor
Main doors accessed through garden courtyard, educational area and store (available to rent seperately) and kitchen/dining/living area. Four bedrooms (2x bedrooms sleeping 5 in 1x single bed and 2x bunkbeds, 1x single bedroom and 1x twin bedroom with disabled access ensuite). Three shower rooms (each with a shower and a toilet) and a toilet.

Accessed from the internal staircase, three bedrooms ( 2x single room with ensuite shower and 1x twin room) and a shower room with a shower and toilet.
Notes for guests
Heating: Biomass boiler
Bedding/linen: 1 pillow, duvet and mattress protector provided per person. Bedlinen is available to hire. If you wish to order some then contact the Stackpole Team on 01646 623 100 at least five days ahead of your stay. Linen pack per person: £5 per pack includes sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase.
Parking: Parking is in the main car park by reception approximately 30 metres from the accommodation. It is possible to get closer for unloading.
Hazards: The estate sits alongside the Castlemartin Tank firing range, when red flags are flying there is no access along the coastal path across the range.
